W. Mohorn once said, "Space energy, the inexhaustible energy of the future, will be the solution to all energy problems."
"When the future will become our present depends on how much we support space energy technologies," he added.
In November 2005 a symposium organized by Aquapol was held in the Natural History museum in Vienna. The topic was "Space energy technologies - technologies of the future". A large number of experts from science and the economy discussed the role of space energy technologies.
Similar symposia were held in December 2005 in Switzerland, and in the Allianz Arena in Munich.
To promote acceptance and facilitate the use of the technology, the "Österreichische Vereinigung für Raumenergie (ÖVR)" (Austrian Society of Space Energy) was founded in 2006 and chaired by W. Mohorn.
